2018, 2019 VISAA D-II Girls State Championship Runner Up
Welcome to Another Season of Excellence at Eagle Swim!
Eagle Swim is a co-ed team at WCA. We currently offer both JV and Varsity teams based on numbers.
Our team is led by former ODU swimmer and Head Coach Luke Weisenstein!
Our team is growing by the year, and we had over thirty swimmers on our squad for the 2022-23 season, in both JV and varsity. We want YOU on our team next season! We invite all students in grade 5 and up to join us as we build our tradition one stroke at a time! The only requirement to be on our swim team is a positive attitude and willingness to work hard to improve your skills!

Team Roster - Varsity
Delaney Gibbons is the final remaining 'plankowner' on the Eagle Swim team, a member since the team was established. Delaney is a 3 time State Championship meet qualifier, and made finals in each of those three years, an instrumental piece of the Girl's team's two consecutive State Runner-up finishes.
Primary Events: 100 Back, 100 Fly, 200 Free
EVENTS: 50 Free, 100 Free
Isaac is brand new to swimming but you never know it. Isaac stormed onto the scene and quickly recorded sub-30 50 freestyle times, and almost broke 1:00 in the 100 Free in 22-23. We are expecting big things from Isaac in his freshman year!
Events: 50 Free, 100 Free
Elaina joined us late in the 22-23 season, but immediately made an impact as just an 8th grader. A summer swimmer for the Kingsmill Sharks, that experience helped her earn the anchor positions on both the State Qualifying 200 Medley and 400 Free relays. Another swimmer we are looking forward to seeing progress!
EVENTS: 50 Free, 100 Breast
Vince is also a member of 757swim, and qualified for the 50 Free BONUS at Staes in 22-23. He barely missed the qualifying for the 100 Breast, as just an eighth grader.
